2:59 pm - Gimmie Some Salt...
The/my website's almost totally and officially complete.

The banner's done.
The layout's done.

It's just the content that's the main issue right now, which always seems to be the hardest part.

I just watched Vanilla Sky last night for the first time and I'm still blown away. Not only was that a serious mindfuck movie, but the acting and most of the visuals were incredible. GG, Mr. Cruise. GG.

10:44 am - I Heard Ramona Sing...
Summer has kicked in, I'm begining to feel it.

My Summer has mainly consisted recently of a lot of hours spent playing Half-Life 2 - Gary's MOD (my new favourite PC game), talking with my old 71sT kinsmen, watching movies, working on my website, and eating poptarts. I love it. I haven't got a job yet, so at this point my chances of getting one are looking pretty slim, which I'm pretty happy about. I really don't have that much to report other than I'm really enjoying myself and you should be too.

Oh yeah, Laser Tag tommorow at 6:00PM to 10:00PM, anyone who would like to go, please do so, it's only $18 to play for 4 hours - unlimited games.

Saturday is the Cursive show, which I'll also be attending, that should be great. Speaking of shows, who's going to the Summer of Ska Tour the 24th? If you are, please email me or something, I think I might need a ride. That would be lovely.

Finally, I think you should check out Defiance, Ohio. They're an awesome group of punk/folk boys and girls. Listen to them and download their music, they share it for free.

And so, the time has come that I depart from the state of Pennsylvania at 7:30 in the morning to the Grand Cayman Islands.

Although, I have to wake up at 5 AM, but that's ok, I like waking up early anyway.

10:00 pm - Keeping low doesn't make no sense...
*dives under water*

One fine day in my odd past....

I picked me up a transmission,

I turned the fission ignition ,

Went looking for the broadcaster.

And when I first touched some ground
They simply told me to leave
Was kind of hard to believe

'cause there was noone around...

This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!

I had a talented wine
     That land o' classical gas
And on the planet of glass
They sent me skipping through time!

I got to somewhere renowned

For it's canals and color of red
And lots of guys who shook their heads
Rhythmically to resound

This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!

This ain't the planet of sound !
This ain't no rock and roll town !
This ain't no fuckin' around !
This ain't no planet of sound !

I met a guy in a rover
He said it's one more over
It's just there where your bound

This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!
This ain't the planet of sound!!!!

10:36 am - I Want Wind to Blow...
So I got my hair cut. When I wake up it closely resembles a mutilated afro, it's really funny.

I've been on a steady diet of sunflower seeds and tea, not a real diet - diet, mind you (jebus knows, that would be ludicrous to do to my body), but it's just what I've found myself to be mainly eating.

I've checked out around 15 books, 3 dvds, and 10 albums for the Cayman trip at the Carnegie Library. I LOVE THAT PLACE. And you know what? Pittsburgh is really a fun place, I mean seriously. After spending an entire day at the arts festival, walking around town in the blazing sun, eating ice cream, watching jazz/indie/country bands play music, and daydreaming on the warm patches of grass I've come to that realization... I can't wait till I graduate, I really think I'd like to live in the city, until I decide to move, that is, out of the United States. :)

I just blasted my keyboard with compressed air. That dust stood NOOO chance.

So Thursday was fantastic as well. Sean, Micky, Louie, and myself all took a joy ride all over Sewickley, through the massive backroads, through the country side, and we stopped at this castle place, it was the biggest house I've ever seen in my life, it was amazing. While Sean threw sugar packets at the on-coming cars (with their windows down) I was the co-pilot who watched for any pissed off drivers who'd be making their way back to follow us. Luckily, there wasn't too many. xD

Anyways, I've got an interesting melody in my head right now, I'm going to apply it to the drumset.

Have a wonderful day, everyone.

Listen to the Album Leaf. They're an ambient/dream pop/electronic band from, San Diego. They play some of the most relaxing-meditative music my ears have ever had the pleasure of hearing. They're releasing a new album soon, I MEAN IT. Check them out.

10:35 am - I'm Digging For Fire...
I'll begin this entry with briefly mentioning the fact that I absolutely love this weather right now. It's so clear, warm, bright, and has this sense of glowing outside, it's perfect. To even escalate my current mood I've just found out that our trip to the Cayman Islands is officially official! Meaning that we'll be leaving the 21st of June and returning the 27th! An entire week in tropical/relaxation paradise. We've not been there for about 2 years now, so I'm stoked beyond comprehension. Words simply can't describe how much I adore this trip, so therefore, I'm not going to bother with it. I'm really excited for many reasons, but I'll list a few:

1. It's away from the culture of the United States for an entire week, that in it of itself is wonderful.
2. It's a week with just myself, my music, the beach, and my mind.
3. I need some time to totally get rid of some of the annoyances, distractions, thoughts, and people that have been really bothering me (and have been on my mind) since school let out (even though those thoughts were still with me in school). I look at it as a filtering process, which I need, I'll feel a million times better. :)
4. The
Cayman natives are some of the most interesting and friendly people on the planet, they make the trip what it is.
5. There's no fastfood "restaurants" (gaahh, I hate calling them that) to be found, anywhere
(This reiterates #1, slightly).
6. After the 3rd day or so, it's like you live there.

I'm done.

Anyways, another interesting event took place on Tuesday. It was LASSSEEERRRR STORRRRMMMMM (as Andy kept saying numerous times in the voice of the 'big announcer guy' who repeatedly kept informing us of this, in case, I don't know, we somehow forgot) with Jay, Andy, Max, and Myself. That was a blast, I haven't played in a year or so, but honestly, it wasn't that hard to get back into the groove again. Jay hogged around 6 MVP awards, while I only got one. Although, I kept getting the most base hits, which if I do say so myself, requires MUCH skill, someone mentioned I was the "backbone" of our team. That made me happy. :P

Near the end of our Laser-Filled-Session Max and Jay betrayed Andy and I, leaving us for the RED team. But it was OK! HOPE PREVAILED as Andy and I came out the victors, winning by 1 point! It was a teeth-grinding battle, let me tell you.

It was a lot of fun, I'd love to do it again soon.

(Note: Nobody at Laser Storm actually looks like this. Yeah. We were pretty disappointed, too.)

ANYWAYS, this is where I leave you today.

I'm heading over to Louie's place for the night with Sean.

Farewell, everyone.

Band recommendation of the week would be, Cursive. I'm seeing them live soon. Fantastic indie rock.

7:41 pm - My Descent into Madness...
This weekend was dull.

The highlight was going into Robinson and buying my own copy of Neutral Milk Hotel's - In The Aeroplane Over The Sea album, which I had originally obtained by illegal means, but because I've listened to it SOOOOO much, I felt obligated to purchase it. I've decided to officially (I make a lot of things 'official', don't I?) declare it album as one of my Top 5's of all time. It's so fucking amazing, in every aspect in which an amazing album should be. Even down to the album art:

Just look at it! It has golden written all over it!

-

In other news, I've officially begun the design process of a new website of mine, due to be released by middle - end of June! I'm definitely shooting for sooner rather than later, but shit happens, so I'd rather be well prepared! I'm begining to dive into the vast universe of website design and media construction again so be prepared for something really awesome! I'm thinking that'll be the place for pictures, music sharing, music/movie/book reviews, blogging (link to this site, perhaps), media, different designs and orignal creations by yours truely, and just overall interesting things that I deem appropriate and fitting for the site. I'll be keeping you all updated with news about it, so please, don't panic.

Ahhhhh yes!!!!! One more thing!...

2:40 pm - I'm NOT the bad guy...
Well, well, well, it's that time again!

Today is Friday, the 9th and the week and the school year are officially done and over with! IT'S FINALLY SUMMER TIME!!!! And yet... well... I still can't really grasp that, at the moment. It's all happened far to quickly, especially this final month. So as I'm sitting in my room enjoying my tea (soon to be coffee) and brownies, I'm still recovering from the Aquabat concert on Tuesday, the last day of finals on Wednesday (Louie's house), and finally Kennywood which I attended yesterday, all day, with the school. So tonight I'm going to the Dave Mathews Band concert with my Dad. (Be very jealous, Andy :P)

So now that you know the general outline and events that have recently taken place in my life, it's time to narrow them down incrementally, in more detail with (yes, I'm delighted to say, although they're very limited and do, for the most part, suck) PICTURES! Here we go...

Tuesday:

Disregarding the finals I had to take that day I excitedly came home from my half day of school, ate, studied for a bit, and before I knew it, it was time to head to Joe's house for the official Avonworth-Aquabat-Cool Kids-Tailgate Party!!! It was an excellent time, filled with super rad food snacks ("song pun", intended), Aquabat shaped jello (it was blue and quite frankly, fucking brilliant), neighborhood walks, abuse of a fellow human being whom would rather work on his "bio disection" that hang out with 14 of us who gathered together to celebrate that oh soooo beautiful day, and last but not least the anxious await to see our favorite super heros perform. So it was a blast, the 14 of us rode to the show in 3 different vehicles (all being land transportation) and once we arrived we waited for about 30 minutes (in the rain) to get into the venue. This, my friends, was a bonding experience, to say the very least. The show, obviously was fantastic, The Aggrolites, in my honest opinion were loads better than Whole Wheat Bread (who weren't that bad, but perhaps had an off night). The Aquabats came out and, naturally, made everyone fall into a state of absolute super-awesome-bliss. The atmosphere was fantastic, I was honored to be apart of it. HOWEVER, I'd have to say that last years performance was a lot better and half way during the show I got a brutal cramp in the side of my stomach, which prohibited me from participating in the skanking and jumping up and down. I was pissed.

Anyways, I'll shut up, here are some pictures of the day:

Pre-Show -

Kelsey, and I. (Excuse my hair, it NEEDS cut, it's totally out of control)

Kelsey, and Paul

John, being sexy - I take that back, the pillow MAKES this picture

Paul, again

Joe, with some kind of insect-bug thing on his lip

John, again (this is how John views the world, so I felt this picture appropriate) :P

Me, again

LOL@Paul

I apologize to the other 8 people whom didn't get recognized in these pictures (especially, Melissa), but remember I only took the camera out near the ending of the party. :(

The camera quality setting were all fucked up, sorry for the terrible quality...

The Aggrolites:

The Whole Wheat Bread photos would be impossible to view, so it's useless to post them. :(

The Aquabats!:

So that's it for the pictures. They sucked, I know, but hey, it's something.

Wed - Friday:

There's so much here, really, but I'll wrap this up for you all.

Wednesday was a blast, I stayed at Louie's place all day long and slept over. I finally watched Pulp Fiction (for the first time) and the new Underworld: Evolution movie. Both were awesome, Pulp was outstanding, I can certainly see why it's so highly admired. After that, I went to Kennywood (this a themepark in Pittsburgh, for those of you whom don't know), which, despite the pouring of rain and a few hostile attitudes towards yours truly, I enjoyed myself. Although I think I got very sick in the begining of the visit, I started acting very anxious and my vision was all scattered and the like. When I arrived at the park I was annoyed by a few things in particular, but after about 2 hours or so, I became really angry. I've never experienced that before, it was strange. But I got over it very shortly after, luckily.

Anyway, I'm done here, I've written all I can possibly write in this amount of time sitting at the computer. It's about time I do something else, it's Summer time!!!

Thanks for reading, I love you all.

5:37 pm
Well another week has come and as quickly as it came, it has gone.

Only this particular week was different because it was our last official days of classes. Monday, Tuesday, and Wedsnday are all reserved for finals. After that, I'm extremely delighted to say, the 2005/2006 school year has officially concluded to an end. It's been an extremely strange year. A year of a rollercoaster of constantly changing emotions. Ahhh yes, the angst. Something which I've dedicated myself to battle against, or more bluntly, just all out avoid it. People suck.

Anyways, next week might just be the best week of my entire existence here on planet earth. Like, seriously.

I'm not going to list my events of the weekday(s) to come out for you, instead, I'll document them as they pass (there WILL be pictures, something I've negated thus far). I figure not only will this be different, but it'll also make up for my lack of updating this sexy thing. Also, I think I'll stick with this new updating thing, not every day mind you, but at random. I figure I'll be a fucking spontaneous bastard. :P

Last but certainly NOT least...

You should love this man. And his band.

Enjoy yourself, now.

7:03 pm - Heard From Telegraph Lines...
Hello everyone.

So today's Friday, the last day of an extremely long week. Seriously, it draggggggggggggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeddddddddddd........... Alright. I'm done.

Today was a half-day of school, which is always nice, but by the end of these half-days I realize that there is something that I wanted to get done, something I would have liked to have done, something of significance, but it never gets to that point of completion. Weird. Another thing that gets me is my drum lesson that begins at 4:00 every Friday. It's not that I don't like my lesson, no, it's not like that at all, infact, I adore my instructor. It's just the fact that after long day of school, I have to go and perform for someone. This is usually the last thing that I'd like to do. A nice nap would be more desirable in my case, but oh well, if that's one of the only things that I can find to complain about, I think I'm doing pretty well.

So Summer will be here pretty quickly. I'm excited about this. Hopefully I'll be obtaining a decent Summer job relatively soon. Once that pressure's off my back and I have my time and shifts down, I'll be set to go this Summer. I imagine (and plan on) this Summer to be one filled with concerts, friend get-togethers, heavy
magnitudes of music consumption (not literally, of course), loads of new books for me to read, many gaming hours spent on the computer, tons of filming and writing, oodles of movies to watch, and finally just enjoying the weather and the outdoors (This will not include camping, mind you. I don't do camping).

If you don't mind, I'd like to quickly mention something that's been on mind a lot recently. It's very sad watching
wonderful people being manipulated by other(s), well, not so good people. Seriously though, manipulation is a very powerful thing and it's amazing how quickly prioritizes and overall character can change because of it. The thing that really gets me is the fact that I can't do one stinking thing about it, at least, that I've found successful at this point. I don't know. No doubt you're all pissed right now because I'm not being specific, but there's no need for that.

Lastly, in closing this (very dull) entry, you all should give a virtual bow to these men and women.

This would be my band recommendation of the week
:

The Arcade Fire
Arcade Fire = <3

8:51 pm - Well, here we go...
I'm going to take my first official stab at this, whole, Live Journal... Thing. I've had a couple profiles from before, but I've never actually followed up with them. The older accounts soon found themselves drifting into the clouded abyss of cyberspace.

So here I am, it's 9 at night and I've spent almost the entirety of my day on this computer. However, it's not all been fun 'n games. I spent about 4 hours on my Respiratory Project, which, in simple words, has been an outstanding bitch. I cleaned the house a little, danced around to some Reggae, Ska 'n some old(er) Belle & Sebastian tunes. Dear Catastrophe Waitress, is such a fucking good album. Yeah.

My weekends have become steadily more independent as this school year draws to an end. Granted, I'm not implying that I don't like this independence. No, I'm not saying that at all. I've come accustomed to it, naturally. And from this independence I've really been enjoying myself, although I do miss hanging out with friends, but that's what Summer's for, right? My only complaint would be the lack of decent weather around here, it's been chilly, wet, rainy, and very damp for the past weeks, something that doesn't sit to well with me at all. I'm most definitely a Summer/Warm/Sunny weather person as I'm one of those people whom tend to react to the weather conditions.

Well, my spine hurts from this dumb wooden chair that not only is putting an enourmas amount of unwanted pressure on my back, but also feels content riding up my ass, which as I'm sure you can imagine, doesn't feel very luxurious.

I need to take a shower (in my CLEAN shower, which I spent around an hour to scrub down and complete). Yeah, that'd feel nice right now, especially with the jet-pulse setting turned all the way up. My back will be thank me for that.

'Night.

And a big virtual hug to anyone who took the time out of their life to read this.
